Sage’s executive experience has been directed towards leading large game changing corporate transactions (over $3B worth) and focused on operations, strategy, financing, sales, marketing and communications. Her passion is in finding opportunities, building teams and evolving business strategies specifically to drive valuations for high-growth, dynamic companies across all sectors and geographies (with a life science and technology focus).

Following postdoctoral studies in medical physiology, Jim lectured at the University of Victoria where he taught courses on neuroscience. James was then recruited to undertake the design and development of the U.S. Air Force Office of Scientific Research funded bio-inspired retinal physiology lab at UVIC. He then went on to utilize bio-inspired principles to develop and commercialize new technologies in the private sector.
