Ed is the longest standing CEO within the cellulosic biorefining industry. He has a BBA from Western State College of Colorado. Previously Ed was a majority owner and chief financial officer of a nationwide, commercial finance company based in Livingston, NJ. He currently serves on the Industrial Hemp Advisory Committee for the Colorado State General Assembly and on the Board of Directors of ZeaChem, Inc.

Casey Ives, Director, Business Development. Casey has 25 years of technical executive and managerial experience in sales & marketing, engineering and sustainability.

Don Cha, J.D., Ph.D. (MIT), Member of PVT Board of Directors since 2007, Dr. Cha has been practicing intellectual property law for over 13 years, is PVT’s in-house Corporate Counsel and is instrumental in providing legal and IP strategies utilized to grow PVT.

Dr. Wingerson conceived, developed and patented PVT’s continuous countercurrent technology. He holds a Doctorate of Science from MIT in nuclear engineering. He served in the U.S. Air Force with positions as professor of physics (Air Force Institute of Technology), Director of the Plasma Physics Research Laboratory (Wright-Patterson AFB), and Deputy Director for Engineering at the Air Force West Coast Study Facility.

Co-founder, Chief Operations Officer, Corporate Secretary and Board Director. Carl brings 30 years of executive and managerial experience in renewables, waste management and recycling. Prior to founding PVT in 1992, he was manager of recycling at Energy Answers Corporation, Albany, NY. He has completed environmental assessments and waste management studies for private clients, trade associations, state and federal agencies.
