Pulse Therapeutics has developed a platform device technology utilizing a rotating magnetic field and nano-scale iron particles (MicroBeads) for drug delivery. By using both magnetic force and gradient, the technology can enable preferential delivery of its MicroBeads for numerous applications (see video). The company will continue its focus on the treatment of ischemic stroke following a successful first in human experience which ended in 2013.
