In 2017, I was elected tax collector in Whitpain Township, PA and found a world rife with silos and dated software. Thousands of envelopes opened by hand. Checks hand processed. I believe we have to do better. With my tech investors’ help, we created an AWS-based utility program to drag tax and apartment rent collection into the present. A 2-year, successful Beta led to 1,200 taxpayers who adopted our TRM. We see no competitor for this space.
