Dave Sly is the founder of Proplanner and past founder and President of Cimtechnologies Corp which was sold to EAI in 1997. Dave has an BS/MS/PhD in Industrial Engineering, an MBA and is a registered Professional Engineer in Iowa. Dave is a part-time Professor at ISU, and has been commercializing Industrial Engineering software applications consistently and profitably since 1987.

Helena Poist brings 30 years of marketing experience to the company. Helena was Chief Operating Officer and Director of Marketing and Sales of Cimtechnologies for 4 years. During this time, Helena learned the processes of developing, marketing, and selling software-planning tools to industrial engineers. Later, as Director of Marketing of a company called Palisade Systems, Helena gained valuable experience in leveraging the business potential
