Company Summary

Pro Mags was created from necessity on a small family farm to help farmers all over the world produce more and better crops. Our focus currently lies with engineering and manufacturing planting equipment which allows precision planting in all weather conditions. With a growing population and diminishing acres of farmland, it is crucial to get maximum crop yields with fewer inputs off each acre planted. We have currently sold to 5 continents.

    President

    Ron has been farming in South Dakota since the 1970s and graduated from South Dakota State
    University. Ron sat on the Clay County Farm Bureau Board from 1984-87 and the South East South Dakota Experiment Farm Board from 1994-97 serving as Vice-President for one year. Ron designs the Company’s product concepts and prototypes.

  • Deb K Hesla
    Treasurer

    Deb worked for the Farm Mutual Insurance Company of Clay County for 25 years managing
    insurance policies as well as the financial bookkeeping. She manages all of Pro Mags LLC’s financial records as well as other office records.

  • Eric A Hesla
    Vice-President

    Eric graduated from the University of South Dakota with a B.A. in English and a B.B.A in Economics. He has a background in entrepreneurship having been a part of 3 South Dakota start-up companies. Eric is in charge of the daily business operations, including talking with customers, filling orders, and working with manufacturers.
