    Designer/Founder

    Melissa Oberon learned early on to create chic fashion out of old, worn jeans. In San Francisco, she
    created a line of “refashioned” men and women’s clothing, which quickly
    made her the go-to designer for bands like the Grateful Dead. In NYC, she introduced antique tatted lace into fine cloth and created a unique boutique line that gained critical acclaim, designing jackets, shirts and dresses that Ralph Lauren brought into his own collection

  • Tadd Zarubica
    CEO

    A premium denim veteran, Mr. Zarubica served as VicePresident, Global Sales and Marketing for BCBG, while serving as President
    of Parallel. Zarubica was
    president of Hudson Jeans and Blue Concept which labels include
    Yanuk, Taverniti and Antik, before launching Denim of Virtue. As a
    consultant, Zarubica has worked with established as well as emerging design companies including Liz Claiborne, Chip & Pepper, Alternative Apparel and American Eag

  • Staci Robain
    Production Manager

    A hands-on, senior level, denim production expert with 18 years experience in the fashion industry, Ms. Robain has developed several denim labels herself including Plugg, Mwah and Deja Blue. She has traveled extensively to China and Mexico to supervise technical design, fit, and production.
