Necessity is truly the mother of invention, and moms-in-need are truly inventive. Prodigyrls, LLC was created to fill a void in the doll market. African-American girls are often overlooked by the doll industry. Prodigyrls, LLC creates high quality dolls and books which reflect their beauty and talent. We create dolls with positive images that African-American girls can identify with. Our target market is African-American girls 5-10 years old

    I am a native Washingtonian. I attended the University of Virginia BA '94 and George Washington University School of Medicine MD '99. My post graduate training is in anesthesiology which I have been practicing for 7 years. My passion for dolls began 4 years ago when I was unable to find dolls for my daughter. Since then I have enjoyed creating a brand that, for the first time, reflect the diversity, beauty, and talent of black girls.
