Mr. Catanzariti has extensive expertise in developing technological solutions to complex problems. Prior to founding POM, he led the development of laser and remote sensing diagnostics for the defense industry, and he has proven experience leading multi-disciplinary research teams. He has overseen all aspects of R&D for POM’s scleral lens fitting technology which is currently undergoing clinical trials.

Don Sanders is an accomplished ophthalmologist. He is the owner and CEO of Visionary Optics LLC - POM’s commercial partner, and the leading scleral lens manufacturer in the US. He has decades of experience clinical research and product development, and he is also the CEO of the Center for Clinical Research, an organization dedicated to guiding medical product development through clinical trials and regulatory approval.

Gary Mikaelian played an instrumental role in the development of our corneo-scleral topographer including the current hardware and data acquisition software. Gary is the US R&D Manager for Nidek Co. Ltd., a leading Japanese ophthalmic device manufacturer with global reach. He is advising POM on strategies for global growth and is actively involved in expanding the scleral lens market to Japan and other countries.

Ned Patton brings more than 30 years of engineering research and management experience to POM. He has managed a large multifaceted group of engineers and research scientists and overseen a number of projects transitioning from early R&D to a commercial product. He has Ph.D. in M. E. and is currently responsible for the mechanical design of our XR-22 corneo-scleral topographer. He will oversee device production and quality assurance.

Tim Farajian is a scientific software developer with extensive experience developing advanced algorithms and software suites in the Aerospace and Defense industry. He has been instrumental in the development of the prototype currently undergoing clinical trials, and is leading our current software development. As CTO he will be responsible for the continuing development of POM’s topographer line and our customer technical support programs.

Greg DeNaeyer is an optometrist with Arena Eye Surgeons, whose practice specializes in corneal disorders. He is a leading scleral lens expert and a key opinion leader in the specialty lens field. He has been a pioneer in scleral lens design and was responsible for the development of the highly-regarded Europa lens series. Dr. DeNaeyer is leading for our clinical research efforts.
