Founder Emilio Miller-Lopez has 20+ years of experience as an executive in the live events industry, matched with decades as a technology developer that have culminated in the creation of PORTL. Emilio is also a musician and studio engineer with extensive experience in the creator industry.

Jared sits on the board of directors for the prestigious Social Venture Network/Investor Circle, a premier socially responsible business community. He is an adjunct professor for the University of Colorado advertising program and is founder and CEO of Guru Media Solutions, a mindfully different strategic marketing agency focusing on empowering movements and purpose driven brands.

Steve Hammersly spent the first few years of his career doing economic modeling and forecasting, which led him into programming, and then into custom software application development. He subsequently spent fifteen years as a technology entrepreneur, founding an IT consulting firm and later a knowledge management software company. In 2000 Steve moved into the education space, and has since been doing business development for Pearson Education.

Brian Malis has over 20 years of experience building, designing and managing pro-social projects and positive impact companies. His works have included production and marketing of large scale environmentalist events, launch of Arizona based organic farming and permaculture projects, a PNW herbal consultancy firm, and a west coast organic trucking company. Brian was PORTL's first investor and has been working on the project since the beginning.
