Company Summary

We believe when our competition says "engaging patients", they have already lost the game. POPS! Diabetes Care is liberating people with diabetes through a fabulous user experience and transformed care model. A loved experience is a sustained experience, which generates lower healthcare costs. POPS! Diabetes has created a much more convenient and painless glucose test paired with the power of the mobile phone. Never before have people with diabetes had the ability to perform such a simple blood glucose test, self-manage through mobile health, and eliminate unnecessary healthcare visits. The result is significantly decreased healthcare costs while greatly improving user's health and quality of life. POPS! Diabetes will sell a subscription service to self-insured employers to generate their resulting 3X ROI healthcare savings. Our experienced team has raised $4M of capital, developed a system through FDA submission, secured eight issued patents, and created an innovative business model. The POPS! outcomes study is proving that a better experience leads to better outcomes with initial results showing an average A1C drop of 1.5 points at six months follow-up. The system solution won the American Diabetes Association 2016 Venture to Stop Diabetes Challenge and the MN Health Action Group’s 2017 Innovation Challenge to lower healthcare costs; validating both the business model and the innovative technology.
