PopPlaces.com belongs to Pop Corner Network, and takes benefit of the previous experience of its team in retail marketing campaigns, pop-up store projects, e-Popping Up multi-brand event and management of a community of pop-up store lovers.

    CEO - Co-Founder

    Karen has a strong experience in marketing and customer behaviour. After working at state-of-the-art companies like Urban Secrets and TRND, she conceived Pop Corner Network as an advanced experiential marketing platform to link customers and brands. Currently, Karen is PopPlaces's CEO and the leader for its business strategy. Other areas of responsibility includes Business Development, Customer Relationships and Creative Direction.

    Technology Manager

    Ismael has Business and Digital Marketing background. He is co-founder (together with David Torras) of Creagia, PopPlaces IT Partner. In addition, he is also co-founder of two social media ventures: Miximoms and XarxaBloc. At PopPlaces, Ismael (together with the Creagia team) are partners and creators of the web site and the community management application; and they are always imagining new features and capabilities to enhance our system fun

  • Operations Director - Co-founder

    David is Computer Science Engineer and MBA Degree, and has developed his career at IBM in several international projects and positions. In 2012, he co-founded Pop Corner Network with Karen Prats, after following an Entrepreneurship program at Barcelona Activa. At PopPlaces, David is responsible of company operations including finance and administration, project management and human resources.

    Corporate Brand Manager

    Eduard is graphic designer with a solid experience in branding, corporate design, web design and motion graphics. He has worked as in-house designer as well as freelance, working for several important clients including CPG and IT services. At PopPlaces, he is partner and plays the role of Corporate Brand Manager, being responsible of all corporate image; he is our art director and web usability specialist. For example, he has designed our logo,

  • Chief Technology Officer

    Strong background in mathematics and computer science gives Pilar the capabilities for playing the CTO role at PopPlaces.com. She has been working as Consulting Director in Attempto IT and as Social Business Consultant in Extreme IT. At PopPlaces, she is responsible of the platform requirements and project management, the business technical analytics and the overall internal consulting for technology in the company.
