Company Summary

84% of the $6.2 Trillion in U.S. food faces real barriers to scale. Pollinate is a platform that makes it possible for food businesses to connect, form communities, and share the burden of scaling. With a vision for the future of the food supply chain, deep food industry knowledge, and two customers with projected LTVs greater than $500K, we are looking for partners to shape the future of food.

Team

  • Todd is a community builder with sales DNA. He led a joint government/industry effort to help food companies scale in the Willamette Valley. He's led teams building software for food manufacturing and marketing. He is a compassionate and energetic leader, who tries not to take himself too seriously.

In his first technology leadership role, he was the lead developer and PM for the marketing coordination platform for a Chase Bank in NYC.

  • Chief Product Officer

Jesse led implementation teams at Netsuite (Oracle) largely for food and beverage distribution companies. He was the first employee at a F&B distribution company in Phoenix where he built out their operational software implementation in NetSuite. He deeply cares about the user experience; constantly driving for user interface improvements. In our team no feature is complete unless Jesse watches that feature work smoothly for real customers.

  • Justin Bloom leads operations & engineering. 20 years engineering experience. IoT veteran, Justin led numerous projects, including the first in-vehicle WiFi hotspot. Team builder, visionary, & named inventor on 7 patents. Passionate about cooking, disappointed with the diversity and quality of food and wine available locally, and never afraid of a challenge, Justin co-founded Pollinate to address the inequities of the food supply chain.

  • VP of Implementation

Danielle was introduced to us as the Automation Maven of L.A. An industrial engineer, she designed and led projects for multi-million square foot facilities for Cargill and Starbucks. She left Amazon as a senior design engineer for the European Union on the cutting edge of fulfillment to join our team.

She has the swagger to sell and implement $100 Million warehouse builds for manufacturing companies who don't have a single female manager.
