PMU Air Oy was established to develop and provide this particular filtering system. All our products are based on our own filter. PMU Air Oy is a small business: there is currently one full-day worker in PMU Air Oy, and company has a contract with sheet metal product manufacturer, Nokian NPT Oy. Nokian NPT Oy is responsible for planning and manufacturing the sheet metal work (structure of filter units). Nokian NPT Oy is committed to do these metal structures and able to scale up the production to respond to the demand via its factory extension and the large subcontractor network they have built from 1993.
For PMU Air Oy the commercialisation of the innovation is essential, since this is the single core technology for the business of the company. New recruitments are in plan for product development, assembly and export sales (reseller management).
On first phase, with existing partnerships and manufacturing capacity, we expect to gain approximately 30% of Finnish market, the total of which is about 35 M€. With a profitable operation the sales can be expanded to other European markets and finally outside Europe.
