Formed in 2009, and currently located on the Novell Technology Campus in Provo, Utah, Pixelture sells software solutions in the form of subscriptions to the education and enterprise spaces. The flagship product, LearnSpace Suite, delivers more functionality than competing hardware solutions at a fraction of the price. This has effectively increased the addressable market for AV collaboration solutions by an order of magnitude.

Prior to Novell he was a Product Manager for Digi International with P&L responsibility for a $30M component of Digi’s flagship “Drop-in Networking” product portfolio. He holds a BS in Psychology from the U of U and an MBA from BYU.

Ryan Oakes has over 10 years of experience working with entrepreneurial companies focusing on financial services and technology. Ryan began his career with Deloitte in Los Angeles in Assurance and Advisory Services. He has also worked in the venture capital industry. He holds a BS in Accounting from the U of U and an MBA from BYU.

Dan Olsen, Ph.D.Director, Chief Technology Advisor
Dr. Olsen is a leader in researching human-machine interaction and the architect of the LearnSpace platform. He is a professor of computer sciences at Brigham Young University and has worked as the co-founder/director of the Human Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. The author of two books and numerous other publications, Dr. Olsen is engaged in many professional organizations.

Jim Niemela has over 15 years of technology/software sales
experience. He has worked for companies such as IBM/Rational Software,
Borland Software, and Corda Technologies. As a top performer among his peers, Jim has had extensive focus on the Education and Enterprise sales space with a keen understanding of the business-to-business software sales process. He holds a BS in Management Information Systems from BYU.
