Mont Handley, the inventor of PITTMOSS® and founder of PittMoss Development Co. holds a BA in History from Purdue University. His career began managing the live-goods department of five Frank’s Nursery locations in suburban Chicago. During that time he began to develop the product that eventually earned U.S. Patent # 5,653,053, which is the foundational basis for PITTMOSS®. Handley moved to Pittsburgh in 2005 to work for VisitPittsburgh.

Matt Knapp, a native of suburban Pittsburgh has career experience at recycling facilities and is our product "Mix Master". Matt's recycling industry experience includes We-Shred, a Document Shredding company and Monongalia County Solid Waste Authority in Morgantown, West Virginia. He is the primary operator of manufacturing equipment and began working for PittMoss Development Co. LLC during the custom plant development phase, in March 2013.

Vince or VJ Angellotto, earned a BA in Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has served as the Director of Sales as of September 1, 2013. His national sales and marketing experience in the freight industry has been very beneficial to PittMoss Development Co, LLC understanding of shipping costs and savings opportunities. VJ engages customers directly and manages the company saleforce.com customer relationship database.

Doug Taylor has recently served as the CEO and President of Zambelli Fireworks Manufacturing Co. His experience includes a role as Managing Director of Sagamore Partners and in the M&A groups at Mellon Financial Services and PNC Financial Services. He is a proven c-level executive with demonstrable skills to lead, effect change, and improve all aspects of operations and brand image.
