PiMiHi ("FeeMee" or "FeedMe"), Allows Families and Individuals to organize, manage, create and control their meal choices. The consumer App allows users to Plan-it, Make-it, and Have-it, as it relates to their meals.
*Plan-it, provides a calendarizing tool that forecasts meal options based on past meal choices and current mood preferences... plus leverages the social dating App interactions approach to streamline the process and make it fun/easy.
*Make-it, provides for recommendation, capture, and indexing of all recipes and ingredients needed to make meals... plus integrates: shopping list, coupon presentation, store finder, grocery loyalty program, and cook videos.
*Have-it, provides for a calendarized meal or selection to be ordered in or eaten out (vs. Made) by having local restaurant finder, integration with online order/delivery and table reservation systems.
The vision of the App is to both track past and current choices to build algorithmic recommendations for the future (based on mood or new criteria), and to allow for crowd sourced inputs... including recipes, video cooking advice, new restaurant (geo-tagged) additions, and grocery specials.
A consumers one-stop, daily-use, interface to organize the meals their family or personal lives need without the headaches of either creating the weeks plan from scratch or doing the same thing week after week.
If you have kids... you need options vs. chicken fingers and pasta
If you have allergies or food favourites... you need to quickly sort/search
If you travel a lot and eat out a lot... you may want to find your favourites in new cities or switch it up one night
There are a host of apps that offer recipes, some with dinning options, some aligned to select grocery chains, or promising the best digital flyer experience for deals/coupons. BUT success in this CPG, Restaurant, and Family supported ecosystem will be defined by 1) end-to-end experience... idea to fulfillment not a broken set of niche Apps, and 2) crowd-sourcing data to ensure rich content.
Consumers will want it as it becomes a simple extension of their daily meal planning lives. CPG will love it because it allows them to profile their products. Grocery will acknowledge it as it can synch their loyalty programs to a broader audience. Restaurants will need it, as they always look for new customer orders and covers.
The Data will drive the value... the Presentation and user Experience will drive the fast growth adoption.
