Company Summary

Today, 26% of breast conservation surgeries require follow-up operations from cancer cells which are not removed (positive or narrow “margins”) due to ineffective margin assessment tools. Perimeter’s Optical Tissue Imaging System (“OTIS”) provides real time high resolution imaging of excised tissue allowing surgeons or radiologists to assess margins and determine if additional tissue should be removed while the patient is on the operating table.
