Company Summary

Pecos Wind Power's community-scale wind turbine, the PW85, is a cost-competitive complement/alternative to commercial solar. It serves a growing market of customers for whom solar, alone, isn’t practical (e.g. poor solar resource, need for energy at night, need for microgrid, etc.). To date we’ve raised over $5M in Federal/State grant funding, installed our first turbine, and secured 6 LOIs for paid pilot projects.

    Jim Forte, Co-Founder and VP Engineering has 16 years experience in technical and leadership engineering roles. He's worked for top tier global wind power companies including Vestas. Jim has an MS in Mech Engineering from Northeastern.
