Company Summary
Patch Life Utilities is a web based e-commerce social activity site. Users register online. Users then may complete activities categorized in our lists in order to obtain points. The activities are split into seven main categories which each have 100 activities; they are broken into further subcategories. Activities range in a variety of effort levels which determine the amount of points awarded for completing activities. When all activities are completed users receive points for each category. The idea is to complete all the activities to gain valuable exposure in people's lives. Activities are completed by submitting a photo, video, or text post on their profile. Posts are monitored. Other users and administrators are able to police false postings as well. Once a user posts, the activity on the categories list will be deemed complete and the member's profile point tracking system will visually show how many points have been achieved.
With those points users will have access and be given the ability to purchase apparel and other accessory item products PLUS manufactures. Users may also communicate with other users. They may view each other's postings, comment, create groups, make events, and find friends.
Outside the online aspect, PLUS will host events and competitions with respect to select activities. PLUS plans to host an annual culminating event which is a talent show, award banquet, and highlights accomplishments of users that past year. In order to help users affordably complete activities, PLUS will obtain coupons and discounts from local businesses which users may, by their purchased subscription with the provided ID card, receive those discounts from businesses. Businesses may further be highlighted and advertise at PLUS event and online while purchasing other paper style advertising space for other marketing approaches.
With earned profits, PLUS will save to develop its large scale activities community center and provide other social responsibility ventures as grants, scholarships, and sponsors to local people who are trying to pursue their dream. Marketing will primarily be done through events, in person, and through other social media and SEO content. 75% of all profits and donations goes to these efforts: 25% saved for the community center, 25% to scholarships, 15% to events, and 10% to acts of kindness.
PLUS wants to help extract, equip, and encourage people to discover who they want to become and give them that push to help them get there.
