After graduating, my husband and I bought a small fire equipment business for $100,000 which consisted of approximately 1,000 customers, 1 vehicle and one employee. We sold the company 10 yrs later for $535,000 with over 10,000 customers, 6 vehicles and 6 employees. The company was bought by a National Company which considers the acquisition one of the best they've ever made.
