Founder and CEO is responsible for the overall strategy and finances of paij. Before starting up paij in August 2012 Sylvia already founded several companies as "serial entrepreneur". After her studies of political sciences at the University of Mainz she worked for McKinsey & Company and other consulting firms.

Volkan Özkan, born in 1986 in Frankfurt am Main, is Managing Director of paij GmbH. He is responsible for the development of the mobile payment solution paij and its international rollout. After he had finished his studies in economics at the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt he has joined the company in 2011 as an expert in product development, marketing and distribution.

Florian Hofmann, born in 1980, is co-founder and Managing Director of paij and responsible für marketing and strategy. After his studies of Social Work and several semesters of Business Administration at the Fachhochschule Wiesbaden he worked as Manager of Business Development for pixoona for more than two years prior to his current engagement. Before joining pixoona Florian Hofmann was manager of Internal Retail Sales at Berlitz Deutschland.
