North Dakota's Bakken Oil Field is currently the second biggest oil discovery in U.S. history. Thousands of workers, previously out of work in their home states are being employed by the booming oil companies- but have no where to live. The ND landscape is studded with abandoned stone school buildings, empty churches and business buildings and no one is using them. With a little renovation, these buildings could house hundreds of workers.
