Company Summary

Orbis Games was originally founded by Shannon Cusick after the immediate success of a web game she built called Virtual Horse Ranch (VHR). Virtual Horse Ranch still generates subscription revenue, virtual item sales and advertising revenue.
Our objectives are ambitious yet very achievable. Our community, along with ourselves, have long dreamed of building a polished 3D multi-platform version of Virtual Horse Ranch.

  • Shannon Cusick

    Cusick has been an entrepreneur all her life, selling her first business at age 21. In 2003, she pioneered social games with the creation of the web game, Virtual Horse Ranch. On the success of that, she founded Orbis Games. Cusick has a wide range of skills from programming to project management to put the project together.

  • John Arras

    John Arras is a software engineer who has shipped casual, social and mobile games in languages such as C#, Actionscript, Java, C++, PHP and Javascript. John has a doctorate in mathematics from University of Maryland.
