Chief Operating OfficerMr. Liao brings 23 years of experience in the medical device industry developing catheters and delivery systems. He held engineering positions at CardiAQ Valve Technologies, Abbott Vascular (Evalve, Inc.), Boston Scientific, and Medtronic. He holds 13 patents related to the CardiAQ/MitraClip devices. Mr. Liao served as an early engineer at CardiAQ Valve Technologies, acquired by Edwards Lifesciences, leading the development of their TMVR device.

He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, nuclear cardiology, and interventional cardiology. Dr. Rajagopal has a special interest and expertise in the minimally invasive treatment of valve disease. He is also currently the Co-Medical Director of Marcus Heart Valve Center at Piedmont Heart Institute.
