Colin is the founder of Optimus. Prior to Optimus, Colin was CEO of Fossil Free Fuel, a renewable fuel company, and was the Director of Research and Technology at Steel City Biofuels, a biodiesel program of Penn State University. Colin is the co-inventor on the Optimus patents, he holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a certificate in Entrepreneurial Leadership from CMU's Tepper School of Business.

Roger is a recognized leader in technology entrepreneurship, founding Vocollect, now part of Honeywell. Prior to Vocollect, Roger held both R&D and management positions with British Broadcasting and Westinghouse. Roger is a Managing Partner at BlueTree Venture Fund where he sits as advisor/board member for many technology investments. He holds seven patents and has a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.

Jon has ten years of product design experience across bio-mechanics, medical devices, and heavy-duty vehicles. Jon previously worked at The Human Engineering Research Laboratories, a U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs laboratory. From 2002-2006, Jon held multiple positions within an Airborne Ranger unit of the U.S. Army. He has a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Materials' Science from the University of Pittsburgh.

Michelle has 25+ years experience in private equity, structured finance, strategy and operations with start-up to Fortune 50 companies. She has filled multiple interim executive roles as CFO, CRO, and strategic advisor driving growth and value for privately owned companies and financial investors. She previously managed a $2BN private equity portfolio for GE Capital and was Head of the Americas, Commodities Finance at Society Generale NY.
