Optensity, Inc. is a start-up headquartered in McLean, VA. In 2012 Optensity launched a unique product, AppSymphony. AppSymphony provides a rapid software development and execution platform where its users (analysts, data scientists and software engineers) can quickly build and deploy Apps that execute transparently in a variety of cloud environments including Hadoop and Amazon's EC2.

    Pamela Arya was the founder of the federal practice for Applied Minds, a high end research and development firm in Los Angeles. Under her leadership, three government projects became commercial spin-offs: TouchTable, PeoplePoint Systems, and MetaWeb which was acquired by Google in July 2010. She has over 20 years’ experience managing P&L of up to $20 million. She was a 2000 NRO Tech Fellow.
