    Captain Stephen “Shanghai Six” Machuga spent two calendar years deployed overseas with the 82nd Airborne Division and 2nd Infantry Division.
    The idea for wanting to build care packages for troops came while he was in Iraq, CPT Machuga received a care package full of used romance novels from a library. He realized that, while people had their hearts in the right place, they just didn’t know what soldiers wanted.
