Rebecca Padnos Altamirano has over 12 years of experience in technology and education. She holds a Master’s degree in Education from Stanford and attended Wellesley and Dartmouth for her undergraduate studies. Prior to OneDegree, Rebecca founded Tangelo LLC and Interesante, Inc. and was part of the founding team at Stanford Schools Corporation.

Dr. Jan Rydfors is a Stanford trained board certified OB/GYN. He co-founded OB-On-The-Go, one of the first and most popular mobile apps for pregnant women. Jan is on the faculty of Stanford Medical Center and he co-authored the top OB/ GYN handbook for physicians in training. He is a consultant to Venture Capital firms evaluating health and technology ventures.

Tangelo designs and develops software for mobile platforms and is based in the Silicon Valley and Argentina. The Tangelo Startup House (a Tangelo project) is a space where our teams dream up big ideas and launch products. Teams design and test prototypes in two weeks of round-the- clock work.

Steve Uhl has 13 years of experience in product development, sales management, and business development, spanning medical devices, e-commerce applications, and consumer electronics. Prior to OneDegree, Steve worked at D2M, CoupleRx, Tyco Electronics and Stryker Endoscopy. Steve holds an MBA from Berkeley and a Bachelor’s in Engineering from UC Davis.

Seth Leslie was also part of the founding team at Stanford Schools Corporation and worked for over a decade in the education field. He holds two Master’s degrees from Stanford University. He has served on the boards of the Tech Museum, the Glow Foundation and Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School. Seth has done business development consulting for Silicon Valley start ups.

Deira Gerritsen is a sales, branding and communications strategist who is creatively minded and commercially grounded. She has previously worked for Dow Jones, NewsCorporation, General Electric, MTV, iVillage and has non-profit experience at the Sick Kids Hospital. She is also a founding partner at Lucina Maternity Foundation.
