Maylin Navarro has 15 years of high level management in social justice, advocacy & hospitality. In 2010, Maylin made a radical career change into the culinary industry. She graduated with top honors from the International Culinary Art Institute, San Diego. Following school she became Sous Chef at Rancho La Puerta Resort and Spa. In 2010, Maylin founded SOL catering, achieving rapid vertical success & brand recognition as owner and Executive Chef.

Melissa Mayer has 15 years of experience in restaurant and executive management & concept consulting within multiple culinary platforms. In 2007, Melissa opened the Guild Restaurant as Executive chef/Partner. The Guild quickly became the top restaurant in San Diego garnering her national attention awards, and accolades. In 2006, Melissa formed Martini Media, providing consulting services for concepts culinary start ups and local food ventures.
