Craig Makela was the principle founder of the Santa Barbara Olive Co Inc. a nationally distributed brand with facings in all 50 states, 15 countries and over 25,000 stores carrying the brand. He was on the B.O.D. of the N.A.S.F.T. founder of the California Specialty Food group, B.O.D. California Culinary Guild, Bank B.O.D. Bank of Santa Barbara and guest lecturer at Cal Tech Pasadena, U.C.S.B, Santa Monica City College and numerous trade events.

Cindy was a co founder of the Santa Barbara Olive Co Inc. she has been the principle accounting and salesperson for the last 30 years building sales past the 13MM mark. she is the co founder of the California Specialty Food Group and current B.O.D. of the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum. Cindy raised three children and was a full time mother during her entire career.
