Erica has over ten years of field experience in sub-Saharan Africa. She most recently served as Executive Director for SIC (Support for International Change), a rural health service provider in Tanzania. Erica speaks fluent Swahili and has a deep network in East Africa. She holds a MBA and Skoll Associate Fellowship from Oxford Saïd Business School and has a Bachelors degree in Ecology from UCLA.

Joshua has 15 years in the energy efficiency and renewable energy industry, and has extensive experience with complex solar systems in retrofits and new construction. He has a background in sustainable development and most recently served as Director of Technical Services at RHA Inc. and consulted with large investor owned utilities and governmental clients. He has a degree in Construction Management and Building Science from Cal State-Chico.

A veteran entrepreneur, Xavier founded two million dollar businesses in his 20’s. He is Chairman of Better World Books, a profitable social venture with $60 Million in revenue. He’s been recognized as Best Social Entrepreneur by Businessweek in 2009, and won the Fast Company Social Capitalist award. He holds an MBA from Oxford Saïd Business School, which he attended on a Skoll Scholarship, and a BA with honors from the University of Notre Dame.
