Ocean Array Systems Ltd. (OAS) produces software for the wind and tidal power industries. The software helps design for, and mitigate the effects of, turbulence and unsteady gusts.

We will license: (1) engineering simulation software to turbine manufacturers to simulate the performance of their devices in turbulent flows; (2) advanced control software as a service to operation and maintenance providers.

    Nicola Pearson - Commercial Director. Nicola has an MBA from Cranfield. She brings commercial and business administration skills (8 years with Hanson PLC) and experience of providing technical services and information to asset managers (8 years for a specialist test house). She has experience of clean-tech start-ups and of setting-up and running a joint venture providing impulse radar testing in Australia.

    Technical Director

    Tom Clark - Technical Director. His PhD and work experience have resulted in the intellectual property upon which Ocean Array Systems’ products are based. Tom’s skill set includes project management, turbine design and a detailed understanding of fluid dynamics. He has a proven track record in this field, having written award winning turbine design software for for QinetiQ plc and having run R&D for a tidal turbine manufacturer.
