Nuovo Wind’s mission is to develop ultra-low cost wind and wind-solar hybrid solutions empowering home and small business owners to feasibly harvest renewable energy to power home and business. Nuovo Wind is currently in the late stages of Research & Development with a fully functional prototype. Through pure wind, and wind-solar hybrid systems, Nuovo Wind offers products that redefine the feasibility of clean energy for 1-2 kW applications.

    Co-Founder

    Manu, a graduate student at Stanford University and Singularity University, holds Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle. He specializes in product design, aerodynamics, evolutionary algorithms, wind-tunnel testing, CFD & electrical engineering and has over 2 years of research experience.

  • Brian Rieger
    Co-Founder

    Brian Rieger is an Aerodynamicist for the 787 Dreamliner with Boeing. He holds Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle. He also has worked in lean manufacturing with Hudson Technologies. His role is engineering, manufacturing, and general product development.

    Co-Founder

    Tristan Zucker currently works for Acumen Fund, a venture capital firm focused on social impact enterprises in the developing world. He is responsible for refining and implementing Nuovo Wind’s business model.

  • Carl Dietrich
    Advisor (Co-founder & CEO/CTO of Terrafugia)

    Terrafugia’s CEO/CTO, Co-Founder, received his BS, MS and Ph.D. from the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) shortly after being selected as the 2006 winner of the prestigious Lemelson-MIT Student Prize for Innovation. Carl was additionally recognized by the Aero/Astro Department at MIT as one of sixteen exceptional graduates under the
    age of 35.
