nU-Boats are a radical departure in Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) design and construction, dramatically reducing cost and greatly simplifying logistics for highly mobile and persistent undersea platforms of all sizes and payloads. Fabric skins and liquid syntactic foam scale to create hydraulically “inflatable” underwater vehicles akin to the giant airships of old that at similar scale will serve as “mothership” undersea seacraft carriers.
