In August of 2015 while renting an Airbnb, our founders had the police called on them and were accused of robbery, simply based on the color of their skin. After experiencing racism and learning more about discrimination on the Airbnb platform, our founders decided to provide a solution. Noirbnb was born. Noirbnb is a safe and welcoming alternatives for people of color to feel comfortable traveling around the world and connecting with each other.
