Jeremy joined the Nitride Solutions’ team in April 2009 as Business Advisor and became CEO in August of that year. He has over 35 years of experience building advanced materials businesses across global industries and markets in start-up and Fortune 500 companies. He has served in Executive, Corporate Officer and Board roles for companies such as Polaroid, Motorola, Cabot Microelectronics, Crosslink, Koch Industries and Crailar Technologies.

As an undergraduate researcher in the Solid State and Material Science Lab at Kansas State University, Jason developed deep experience in SiC and aluminum nitride crystal growth, characterization, fabrication, and device processing. Mr. Schmitt’s success as a researcher resulted in his invitation to be the first American student to study at Poland’s Warsaw University of Technology
