Company Summary

Based in Toronto, Ontario, Next Mobile Inc. was founded in January, 2011 by four undergraduates from across Canada as part of a program called The Next 36. Next Mobile is committed to the design and implementation of mobile applications across a variety of platforms that are inherently social, scalable, and that build on an existing user-base. Next Mobile has successfully raised its first round of financing to launch Electric Courage.

    Shahed has co-authored three peer-reviewed publications in regenerative medicine and engineering education as well as co-founded and led a student group that develops custom assistive devices for people with disabilities. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree. at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachussetts.

    JP joined Next Mobile while continuing to act as president of St. Mary’s University Students in Free Enterprise. He also Co-founded and managed a mobile car detailing service and has won several prestigious business plan competitions.
