  • Eric Paradis
    Co-Founder

    Eric is the original founder of NewsCastic and recruited co-founders in 2011. In January 2013, Eric led the team through the DreamIt Austin start-up program.

    Eric managed the digital business at ReelzChannel for seven years, including operations, budgets, P&L, staffing, UX, editorial, ad ops and marketing. Eric has also built dozens of multi-million dollar digital products for Proctor & Gamble, Harley Davidson, Miller Brewing and Best Buy.

  • Mahesh Bajaj
    Co-Founder

    Mehesh is the lead software engineer for Newscastic. His role includes database architecture, iOS and .NET development. Mahesh has a Masters of Computer Applications from Panjab University in Chandigarh, India. Prior to NewsCastic he spent five years at ReelzChannel as the lead developer, building reelz.com from the ground up.

  • Adam Wimsatt
    Co-Founder

    Adam is a software engineer for Newscastic. He is an expert in front end web development using HTML / CSS and Javascript / JQuery. Adam manages the NewCastic infrastructure and hosting. He has a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Excelsior College in Albany, NY. Adam spent three years on the digital team at ReelzChannel, and five years as vice president of wordles.com, a website dedicated to crytpograms and word games.

  • Chris Ortiz
    Co-Founder

    Previously Chris was the website news editor for the Albuquerque Journal. At Newscastic, he is responsible for journalist marketing and promotion, as well as frontend development. He studied journalism and history at Colorado State University. Chris owns and manages stuffjournalistslike.com and #partylikeajournalist, modern journalism communities with approximately 25,000 combined users.
