Company Summary
Neurovation Labs ("NL") is an early-stage biotech company focused on diagnosing and treating Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Drs. Perusini and Fanselow discovered what NL believes is the first objective indicator of PTSD. With the pioneering research successfully completed, Neurovation Labs is now pursuing development of objective PTSD detection methods and ultimately a cure in humans based on these discoveries.

Dr. Perusini earned her BA in Neuroscience at Columbia U. and her Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience at UCLA, where she studied the mechanisms underlying Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Columbia in the Departments of Psychiatry and Integrative Neuroscience, where her research focused on rodent models of aging and Alzheimer’s disease. Her doctoral dissertation work is the basis of the company’s research.

Richard ZemskyCOORichard received a BS in Mech. Engineering from Villanova before graduating from Columbia Law. He previously conducted research in heat transfer theory and shape memory alloy-based robotic design and was team lead for mechanical and aeronautical design for a vertical take-off electric aircraft. As an attorney he focused on patent law, advising early stage and established companies in the development, protection, and enforcement of IP rights.

CFODaniel earned his BBA in Accounting from the Univ of Notre Dame. He began his career at E&Y where he had a variety of audit and consulting responsibilities. His first startup was in 1988 and he has been active with startups and growth companies ever since, as a CEO, COO, CFO, consultant, investor, director, and/or adviser. Focusing on finance, operations, and strategy, he has grown companies from conception to billion dollar operations.
