New concept of drug delivery based on a ground-breaking delivery device that is intrathecally implanted enabling the action of drugs in a safe and efficent way.
We have developed a new concept of drug Pseudodelivery mechanism of action: CSF enters the device where it joins drugs before returning to the intrathecal space free of pathogenic molecules, but drugs never leave the device.
By clearing pathogenic molecules from the CSF we are also clearing them from brain tissue because there is no tight barrier between brain and the CSF and molecules are in equilibrium (the CSF-sink therapeutic strategy).
