Chief Operating OfficerGraduated from the Honours Engineering Program of McGill University, Wayne worked in Product Engineering for Zimmer and Alcatel-Lucent before venturing into the start-up world. He then worked closely with Venture Capital firms to source investments and develop sustainable Sales & Marketing processes for their portfolio companies. Wayne was the first to conquer the Kanata Outback trail with a $99 bike from Canadian Tire.

Chief Executive OfficerEducated at McGill University, Oxford University, and Osgoode Hall Law School, Nejeed was the founder and director of End Poverty Now and Conversations for Change. He also worked with the United Nations and the Senate of Canada. Currently a member of the Toronto Global Shapers (World Economic Forum), his awards include the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, the Friends of the UN Tolerance Award, the Canadian Millennium Excellence Award.

Chief Innovation OfficerHussain started his career as an Engineer in the energy industry and started traveling across the world. Hussain is passionate about entrepreneurship and technology, and combining them to create change. His experiences have led him to believe that collaboration is crucial to creating value in all organizations. Hussain holds a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University.

Business Development OfficerUpon graduation, Samir began working as a Business Analyst in the financial services sector. Prior to NFC, he was also an Aerospace Engineer, volunteered in Montreal as an executive lead of the World Partnership Walk, and tutored students in Calculus. He believes there is a huge opportunity in the simple act of sharing knowledge. Samir holds a B.Eng. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University.

Eric BoloChief Technology OfficerEric’s academic interests range from ecological modelling to philosophy, through law. He took up programming in college, and the hobby became an obsession. He loves staying up in the wee hours trying to figure out algorithms and programming tricks. He spends his free time dabbling with guitar, drums, harmonica, shakers, kazoos, pots and pans and pretty much whatever else he can get his hands on. Eric holds B.Sc in Biology from McGill University.
