Sleep apnea has a prevalence of 15%.
Currently it's well treated, but badly detected.
Diagnosis costs about $1500 with one year on the waiting list. It's usually done in sleep centres and in few cases at home.
Reimbursement is very low: less than $100 in the US and less than €200 in EU.
We want to disrupt sleep apnea detection with our medical device and bring costs down to $50 with overnight results by placing our device in pharmacies.
