Company Summary

Summary of company
o We connect carpool and mass transit to help suburban workers commute faster. We leverage the massive capacity in cars during rush hours.

Who are the actual people we're selling to and what do they need?
o We sell carpool ride tickets to commuters that complement their mass transit ride for the last mile for a door-to-door transit experience.
o Workers need a reliable, predictable, secure and affordable carpool system. Employers pay us to improve their employees commute experience.

How we've confirmed that these people need our solution?
o We built a beta and ran tests in Montreal. We got 4000 people registered, public transit agencies endorsement and employers buy-in.
o We're received 235k$ from the Quebec Gov. to validate a product that is secure, legal and fiscally responsible.
o We've signed partnership agreements with STM, RTL & STL and got validation from Blablacar, SNCF, RATP, Keolis, Transdev, MTA (New York) and Metrolinx.

Why is our product different than existing solutions?
o Chances that coworkers are also neighbours are close to none. We built an algorithm that leverages junction points, such as train, metro or bus stops, to get 25x more matches than the typical carpool solution that only focuses on an origin-destination scenario.

How does it make life better for our customer?
o Using transit in center city and carpool in remote areas, commuters get a faster (5-30%) and cheaper (2000$/y) solution than their own car.

What's happened in the world that makes customers ready for your product?
o Smartphone ubiquity, increased road congestion, mass transit stagnation and gov. finances make commute logistics an opportunity.
o After e-hailing (Uber) and long distance (BlaBlaCar), folks are ok sharing cars. Daily carpooling is the next segment to win.

How big is this market?
o The niche for daily mix-modes commuting is a 17B$/year market.

Why is our team uniquely suited to build and sell this product?
o 2 founders have a combined 7 startups experience w/ 3 successful exits, a proven track record of growing companies and a great credibility. We listen to and recruit the best business advisors we can.

What is so special about our approach that it can't be imitated by competitors?
o Our multimodal algorithm turns cars into mass transit extensions to solve rush hour capacity problem.
o Our business model w/ transit agencies and cities make us a long term infrastructure. Think of parking systems in cities. You can't have 2 players in the same metro area.

What do we want from investors and what will it help you accomplish?
o We seek 1,25M CAD to adjust product, validate CAC & CLV and finalize business model and growth plan before raising series A in 2016.
