    Mr. Todd Mr. Heberlein received his Bachelors in Computer Science and Math from the University of California at Davis in 1988 and his Master in Computer Science from the University of California at Davis in 1991. He is the founder and president of Net Squared, Inc.

    Mr. Heberlein pioneered the field of network-based intrusion detection, developing the original UC Davis Network Security Monitor (NSM) and has been active in security ever since.
