I am a serial entrepreneur in medical research and development. My first company, Superior Medical Experts, provides medical writing services to device companies. My second, Marblehead Medical, developed two devices for stroke treatment before being acquired by Medtronic in March 2021. I founded Nested Knowledge based on the pain points in data management I noticed in these ventures, and I lead R&D, legal, finance, and acquisition preparation.

I am a business development expert with 6 years of experience landing contracts with device and pharma companies. Kevin and I grew our first company, Superior Medical Experts, to a 30-researcher team serving four of the top device companies in the US. Subsequently, I led commercialization and acquisition negotiations for Marblehead Medical. I currently source talent, lead outreach, and negotiate institutional licenses for Nested Knowledge.

I am a data scientist and developer with a background in statistics and machine learning. Before Nested Knowledge, I worked for Dell and TripAdvisor as a Senior Data Scientist, as well as completing open-source projects in biostatistics. I lead design and development at Nested Knowledge, including database management, cloud hosting, and R&D projects in the automation of data extraction from PDFs.
