Company Summary
With every surgery, comes a potential risk that a complication could occur after the surgical procedure. NERv is developing a medical device to detect anastomotic leakage (the leakage of gastrointestinal fluid into the abdominal cavity) after a surgical procedure, in real time. By assessing the body’s natural biomarkers, the biochip identifies the complication and sends the information obtained to NERv’s integrated system.
