Amy is a graduate of the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy and has managed pharmacies for over 2 decades. She has traveled extensively to study indigenous healing methods and plant based medicine, including leading expeditions to the Amazon and Andes, Ecuador, Madagascar and Papua New Guinea. Amy founded and serves as the Executive Director of Healing Seekers, a non-profit corporation which creates educational materials.

John has 25 years of experience in bioanalysis and metabolism in pharmaceutical research and development. He received his degree in chemistry from the University of Illinois in 1988 and his MBA from Wake Forest University in 2006. Most recently with Targacept, Inc. in Winston-Salem, NC, John has considerable experience with implementing Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices.
