Nasseo is developing next generation dental/orthopedic implants to address failures, peri-implantitis/inflammation, and to enable people with poor bone healing (e.g. heavy smokers) to receive dental/orthopedic implants. Nasseo's TiArray™ Dental Implant integrates our proprietary nanotube surface technology which strengthens the bone-to-implant bond at the molecular level, stimulates stem cell growth/differentiation, and lowers inflammation.

    Kayvon received his JD from the University of San Diego School of Law (Cum Laude) and his BS in Bioengineering from UCSD. Kayvon is leading Nasseo’s operational and legal compliance initiatives utilizing his extensive medtech IP law experience. Kayvon previously co-founded a web-based startup company that raised $2.5M+ in seed funding and had over 20 employees and thus brings a wealth of fundraising and management experience to Nasseo.

  • Garrett Cale Smith
    Co-Founder, CTO

    Garrett received his PhD in Bioengineering from UCSD and is a Stanford Biodesign Fellow Alumni. Garrett has been developing the surface modification technology behind Nasseo’s dental implant over the past 6 years and is leading Nasseo’s fundraising and product development initiatives. Garrett previously co-founded two ophthalmic medical device startup companies out of Stanford (Oculeve, Inc. and Ocular Devices) that have raised over $8M in Series
