Company Summary

NanoThermo produces novel thermal interface materials which are required in every electronic device that generate heat during operation. Thermal management of heat from the LED junction is identified as a critical technical bottleneck preventing successful deployment of LED. Our Nano-Pads are produced by a proprietary process using metal decorated carbon nanotubes. Our customers include LED OEMs and LED light fixture manufacturers.

She completed M.S. in Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas in August 2009. In 1991, she obtained her M.S. in Computer Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne, FL. She worked at Motorola, and INTEL.

    Chief Operating Officer

    Dr. Govindaraju is a materials engineer/Entrepreneur with over thirty years of diverse engineering and project management experience with a proven track record in new coating process development, nondestructive testing, surface modification, and nanomaterials. He obtained his Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the University of Iowa, Iowa City in 1991. He was successful in winning 3 Phase II SBIR, and 6 Phase I SBIR awards.

    Chief Scientific Officer

    Prof. Rao received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Kentucky in 1989, and held a postdoctoral appointment with Prof. Mildred Dresselhaus at MIT. His current research includes understanding and controlling the synthesis of 1D nanostructured organic and inorganic materials. He has more than 230 peer-reviewed publications, 29 review articles and book chapters, and 12 patents to his credit.

  • Earl Hager
    Vice President, Strategy and Marketing

    Mr. Hager obtained B.S. Economics from the Wharton School, the University of Pennsylvania and M.B.A., in International Business from the Baylor University, TX. Earle Hager will assist in developing marketing strategies, marketing leads and marketing plan. He has over thirty years of consulting and business development experience. His expertise includes technology evaluation and commercialization, and technology transfer strategies.
